Abstract
I combine a designy approach with digital textures to create direct caricatures with strong likenesses.
Colour and texture
Using a very limited colour palette and some textures, I capture my “victims” in a style I have developed over more than 15 years.
Minimalist
I try to use only a few lines to capture the essence of each person in an abstract, creative and geometric way.
The final look
I use Photoshop to create a vector-like appearance, which sharply contrasts with the roughness of the sketch.
There is only one rule I try not to forget:
there is no caricature without likeness.
